Your Captain - Mike Holmes is one of Hawaii's most accomplished watermen.

Former Waikiki lifeguard, he is also a veteran bodyboarder, surfer, outrigger canoe paddler and steersman, world-class sailor and chief fun hog.

Molokai to Oahu canoe race experience - 8 crossings including paddling and steering and one record setting crossing.

He has coached various outrigger canoe crews for more than twenty years.

Mike has accumulated over 30 years fishing experience around the main Hawaiian Islands, the US East and West Coasts, the Bahamas, Mexican Pacific Coast and Tahiti.

He holds a 100-ton captain's license.
